Abstract: The present disclosure is related to non-alpha-substituted, low molecular weight peracid compositions. The peracids have no or a negligible amount of odor, have good stability, and have antimicrobial properties. The peracid compositions can be formulated into a wide variety of end use products, including disinfectants, sanitizers, sporicides, fungicides, laundry products, hard surface cleaners, bleaching agents, personal cleansers, and water treatment products.

Abstract: A disinfectant composition that is effective against tuberculosis-causing bacteria is disclosed. The composition contains a disinfectant agent that is a combination of biocidal quaternary ammonium compound and an N,N-di-substituted alkylamide water insoluble solvent. The composition can be a concentrated formulation or a ready-to-use formulation. Methods of disinfecting surfaces containing tuberculosis-causing bacteria are also disclosed.

Abstract: The present technology, in general, relates to antimicrobial and biocidal compositions, for example bucket dilutable biocidal compositions, and the various applications and/or processes of utilizing them as hard surface disinfectants and/or cleaners. The biocidal composition of the present technology comprises hydrogen peroxide, a quaternary ammonium compound, an appropriate acid and an amine oxide in specific concentrations to provide a 5 minute or less microbial contact kill time for at least one biocidal target.
