Abstract: An imaging assembly for an image sensor is disclosed comprising a lens, a transparent substrate and two aspheric optical coatings on each side of the substrate. Abstract: An optical mouse comprises a base (20) and a lens (34) forming an image on an image sensor package (40). An LED (28) projects light into the field of view of the lens (34) via a prism (30). The form of the prism (30) enables the LED (28) to be set horizontally and minimises optical losses. The prism (30) and lens(34) may form part of a single moulding.
