Abstract:
A first wireless device (WAP1) belongs to a wireless communication system and is adapted to exchange information within at least a first band of frequencies. The method comprises detecting the eventual presence of at least one potential victim device (XDVC) operating within the first band of frequencies and reducing the interferences with said at least one potential victim device. Said first wireless device is provided with an antenna array (ANRR), and said detecting step comprises analyzing on said first wireless device the environment of the wireless device through said antenna array, and if said at least one potential victim device (XDVC) is detected, said interference reducing step comprises controlling the antenna array for steering the antenna beam towards an area located outside of the vicinity of said potential victim device for eventually exchanging information within said first band of frequencies with at least a second wireless device (WAP2) located in said area. The main embodiment uses Ultra Wide Band transmission known as UWB.
Abstract:
The wireless transceiver comprises a transmission chain including mapping means adapted to deliver initial modulation coefficients in the frequency domain, power amplification means, antenna means having given frequency characteristics and being adapted to transmit a signal having a band of frequencies greater than 250 MHz including sub-carriers respectively modulated from said initial modulation coefficients. Said transceiver further comprises first storage means storing antenna correction coefficients associated to chosen frequencies of said band of frequencies and elaborated from said given frequency characteristics and from desired frequency characteristics of said antenna means taking into account a given amplification level of said power amplification means, and first correction means connected to the output of said mapping means and to the first storage means and adapted to correct the initial modulation coefficients associated to the sub-carriers corresponding to said chosen frequencies with the corresponding antenna correction coefficients.
Abstract:
