Abstract:
There is described a control device for the change of the driving modality of an electromagnetic load (3); the electromagnetic load is passed through by a current (Ivcm). The device has at the input a control signal (L/P) to change the operation modality of an electromagnetic load (3) from a first operation modality (PWM) to a second operation modality (LIN) or vice versa and a signal (Tri_Peak, Tri_Mid) representative of the passage of current (Icvm) that passes through the load (3) for substantially its average value (IM). The device comprises first means (100, 201) adapted to synchronize the driving signal (L/P) for changing the first operation modality to the second operation modality or vice versa of the electromagnetic load with the signal (Tri_Peak, Tri_Mid) of the passage of current (Ivcm) passing through the load (3) for substantially its average value, and to generate a driving signal (S1p) as a function of said synchronization. Abstract:
An output buffer (10) is described of the type comprising at least a first and a second final stage (11a, 11b), formed by respective first transistors (MPF1, MPF2) and second transistors (MNF1, MNF2) inserted, in series to each other, between a first and a second voltage reference (Vcc, GND) and having common conduction terminals connected to an output terminal (PAD) of the output buffer (10), having in turn an input terminal (DATA*) connected to control terminals of the transistors (MPF1, MNF1) of the first final stage (11a) by means of at least a first open loop driving circuit (12a). Advantageously according to the invention, the output buffer also comprises at least a second feedback driving circuit (12b) inserted between the input terminal (DATA*) and control terminals of the transistors (MPF2, MNF2) of the second final stage (11b), the second feedback driving circuit (12b) comprising at least a current detector (13) suitable to detect a maximum in the value of the current drawn and supplied by the output buffer (10) and a comparison block (14) with a threshold value, suitable to detect an excess of this threshold value and to process information coming from the current detector (13) to regulate an output impedance value of the output buffer (10). A current detector (13) of a portion of an electronic device is also described, properly comprising a duplicated structure (15) suitable to replicate this portion of electronic device not to alter the performances of the electronic device itself.
