Abstract: The system (1) for detecting and evaluating environmental quantities and events is formed by a device (2) and a mobile phone (3), connected together through a Bluetooth connection (4). The device (2) is enclosed in a containment casing (10) housing a support (20) carrying a plurality of inertial sensors (35) and environmental sensors (36); a processing unit (39), coupled to the inertial sensors and to the environmental sensors; a wireless connection unit (38), coupled to the processing unit; a wired connection port (26), coupled to the processing unit; programming connectors (30), coupled to the processing unit (39) and configured to couple to an external programming unit to receive programming instructions of the processing unit; a storage structure (33), coupled to the processing unit; and a power-supply unit (41). The mobile phone (3) stores an application, which enables a basic use mode, an expert use mode, and an advanced use mode.

Abstract: An electronic device (1) for detecting the presence of an occupant (100) on board a vehicle (12), envisages: an audio sensor (2), designed to acquire sound-sensing signals on board the vehicle (12); a movement sensor (3), designed to acquire movement-sensing signals associated to the movement of the vehicle (12); an environmental sensor (4), designed to acquire environmental-sensing signals on board the vehicle; and a processing unit (5), coupled to the audio sensor (2), the movement sensor (3), and the environmental sensor (4) for receiving and jointly processing the respective sound-sensing signals, movement-sensing signals, and environmental-sensing signals in order to monitor the presence on board the vehicle (12) of the occupant and the absence of the responsible person, determine a situation of danger, and activate a corresponding alarm warning.
