Abstract:
The present invention refers to a current generator with thermal protection. In one of its embodiments the current generator (GC) with thermal protection having an input terminal (In) and an output terminal (OUT) comprising: a voltage generator (V); a first controlled switch (T1) having a control terminal applied to said voltage generator (V), a first terminal connected to said input terminal (IN), and a second terminal connected to a resistance (R); characterized by comprising: a second controlled switch (T2) having a control terminal coupled to said voltage generator (V), a first terminal connected to said resistance (R), and a second terminal connected to said output terminal (OUT); a temperature sensor (S) of said current generator (GC) able to measure the temperature of said generator (GC); a control circuit (D) of said second controlled switch (T2) able to open said second controlled switch (T2) in the case in which the temperature of said current generator (GC) overcomes a preset temperature.
Abstract:
A power conversion device (10) is described, having:
a first and second input terminal (T1,T2), connected to a transformer winding (2), and at least an output terminal (OUT), at least a first and second synchronous rectifier (SR1,SR2), associated to the first and second input terminals (T1,T2) respectively; at least an inductor (L1) comprised in an output stage and inserted between the first input terminal (T1) and the output terminal (OUT); a driving circuit (3) having at least a first and second output terminal (N4,N5) connected to respective control terminals of the first and second synchronous rectifiers (SR1,SR2).
Advantageously according to the invention, the power conversion device comprises an adjustable threshold control block (4) inserted between the device first and second input terminal (T1,T2) and connected to the inductor (L1), the control block (4) being enabled on the low level of a control signal (OUTGate1) on the first output terminal (N4) of the driving circuit (3). A control method of a synchronous rectifier comprised in a power conversion device is also described.
