Abstract: A method, comprising:
- a) providing a H-bridge circuit including a supply node configured to be coupled to a supply voltage (VDD) as well as a first pair of transistors (QH1, QL1) and a second pair of transistors (QH2, QL2), each pair of transistors including a first transistor (QH1; QH2) and a second transistor (QL1; QL2), wherein:
- the first transistors (QH1; QH2) in the two pairs of transistors (QH1, QL1; QH2, QL2) have the current paths therethrough included in respective current flow lines between the supply node (VDD) and a first output node (EH1) and between the supply node (VDD) and a second output node (EH2), respectively, and
- the second transistors (QL1; QL2) in the two pairs of transistors (QH1, QL1; QH2, QL2) have the current paths therethrough coupled to a third output node (EL1) and a fourth output node (EL2), respectively, the first output node (EH1) and the third output node (EL1) mutually isolated from each other and the second output node (EH2) and the fourth output node (EL2) mutually isolated from each other,
b) operating the H-bridge circuit in a selected one of a plurality of modes, the plurality of modes comprising a first, a second and a third mode.-

Abstract: A method of compensating electromagnetic emissions of a device (D) for use in a CAN bus (B) is described. The device (D) comprises a CAN transceiver (300) coupling the device (D) to said CAN bus (B) for transmitting and receiving signals. The method comprises:
- transmitting a test signal (TS1) over the CAN bus (B),
- receiving, at the device (D), said test signal after propagation over the CAN bus (B),
- performing frequency analysis processing (OSC2, 304, 306) of the test signal received to detect a set of harmonic components of the test signal received having an amplitude exceeding a certain threshold (V OEM,th ),
- storing (316) respective values of frequency of harmonic components in said set of harmonic components having an amplitude exceeding said certain threshold (V OEM,th ), and
- generating and transmitting over the CAN bus (B) a set of compensation signals, each compensation signal in the set of compensation signals being a sinusoidal signal having a respective frequency equal to one of the frequencies stored, and being in anti-phase with respect to the harmonic component of the test signal received having said respective frequency.
