A mixture liquid including a water-soluble resin, an aqueous medium, and an olefin polymer including monomer units based on an ±-olefin having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, monomer units based on an ±,²-unsaturated carboxylic acid ester, and monomer units based on a compound selected from the group consisting of ±,²-unsaturated carboxylic acids and ±,²-unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydrides, wherein the content of the monomer units based on the ±-olefin is 50% by mass or more.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous emulsion not containing a chlorinated polyolefin but giving a coating film excellent in adhesion to polypropylene.SOLUTION: The aqueous emulsion comprises: (A) an olefin copolymer comprising a structural unit derived from ethylene and/or a linear α-olefin and a structural unit derived from a vinyl compound represented by the formula (I): CH=CH-R (I) (wherein R represents a secondary alkyl group, a tertiary alkyl group or an alicyclic hydrocarbon group), or a polymer obtained by graft polymerization of an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride onto the olefin copolymer; (B) an acrylic resin comprising a structural unit derived from an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid and a structural unit derived from an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid ester; (C) a nonionic emulsifier; and (D) water.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition excellent in adhesiveness with polypropylene.SOLUTION: The composition includes the following components (A), (B) and (C): (A) is a polymer (A-1) containing 70 to 99 mol% of a structural unit originated from propylene and 1 to 30 mol% of a structural unit originated from 1-butene, and exhibiting substantially no melt peak observed, or a polymer (A-2) obtained by graft polymerizing α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids to the polymer (A-1); (B) is a polymer (B-1) containing 5 to 20 mol% of a structural unit originated from ethylene and 80 to 95 mol% of a structural unit originated from propylene, and exhibiting substantially no melt peak observed, or a polymer (B-2) obtained by graft polymerizing α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids to the polymer (B-1); and (C) is a polymer (C-1) containing 60 to 90 mol% of a structural unit originated from propylene and 10 to 40 mol% of a structural unit originated from 1-butene, and exhibiting substantially no melt peak observed, or a polymer (C-2) obtained by graft polymerizing α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids to the polymer (C-1).
