    Abstract: PURPOSE:To bond a fluororesin firmly to a steel plate surface due to the anchoring effect without using a primer, by coating an etched fine uneven surface formed on an aluminum layer of the plate surface with the fluororesin. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum layer 2 15mu or more thick is formed on the (alloy) steel plate 1 by plating or lamination, and etched (electro)chemically to form the fine unevenness having an average roughness of 3-5mu and the maximum roughness of 8-10mu. The etched surface is then coated with a fluororesin, e.g. tetrafluoroethylene resin, to form the desired article coated with the film 3. EFFECT:The film can be formed on an inexpensive high-strength steel plate base without forming pinholes.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten a heat-up time of a heat roller, and also to reduce electric consumption by providing a ceramic layer having a specified volume resistance on the peripheral surface side of a roller body, and also providing a fluororesin film on its outside surface. CONSTITUTION:A conductive ceramic 1 is used for a roller blank material, and a roller itself is made to have a heating property. That is to say, the roller blank material is molded by the conductive ceramic 1, or the conductive ceramic 1 layer is provided through an insulator layer 3 on the surface of a roller blank material 2 of conventional aluminum, stainless steel, iron, etc., and as for the conductive ceramic, a material having a volume resistance of 10 -10 OMEGAcm is used. This blank material is sintered and molded to the roller, or an insulator layer is provided on the surface of the roller of conventional aluminum, or stainless steel, or iron, etc., and on this layer, a conductive ceramic layer is provided by means of thermal spray and vapor-deposition, etc. Subsequently, coating of fluororesin as a non-adhesive layer is executed on this surface.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness of a metal substrate and a resin by coating an org. silicon compound having an epoxy group or an amino group and a functional group combined with silicon on a metallic substrate then coating with fluoro- resin dispersion including an inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:The org. silicon compound having one or more of epoxy group or amino group and functional group combined with silicon represented by Si-OR (R is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an acyl group or represent SiX, when X is a halogen atom) is dissolved in water or a solvent such as alcohol, and this is coated on a metal substrate by spraying or the like. Thence, the fluoro-resin dispersion containing >=1wt% inorganic fillers such as TiO2 and Fe2O3 is coated on said substrate, thence it is heated and baked. There may be used gamma-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane and the like for the org. silicon compound.
