Abstract: PURPOSE:To efficiently process the internal face of a die by fitting plural dies in the longitudinal row to a piece of wire. In this case, plural dies 11-14 are held on each die holder in the longitudinal raw at intervals on a piece of wire 4 spread vertically and a wire holder preventing the vibration of the wire is arranged between the die holders and in the space with the wire end part where the die holder and a weight 5 are fitted to. Thus, the internal faces of plural dies 11-14 can efficiently subjected to polishing simultaneously by a piece of the vertical wire 4.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve cooling capacity and to increase a wire drawing speed by installing a cooling capstan provided with rollers for winding a metallic wire in order to cool the wire before entering dies in multiple stages between a drawing capstan and a turn roller capstan. CONSTITUTION:The supplied metallic wire 5 passes the 1st die 4a and is drawn by the drawing roller 1a of the drawing cone capstan 1. The wire passes the 2nd die 4b in succession and is drawn by the drawing roller 1b. The wire passes the final die 4j similarly and the metallic wire 5 drawn by the drawing roller 1j is further drawn by the next dies and the drawing rollers via a turn roller or is coiled. The drawing cone capstan 1 is successively increased in the diameter of the drawing rollers. The reduction of area of the respective dies is slightly larger than the diameter increasing rate of the drawing capstan 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily and accurately perform detection by running a twisted wire in a chip and moving the chip toward a chip stopper, and detecting the movement of the chip caused by the passage of an abnormal twisted wire part through the chip and thus detecting the abnormal twisted wire part. CONSTITUTION:A detector uses the chip 1 having a round hole whose diameter is larger than the circumscribed circle diameter of a normal twisted wire part and smaller than the maximum diameter of the abnormal twisted wire part. Then the twisted wire 11 is run through the round hole 2 of the chip and then the chip 1 is caught by the abnormal twisted wire part because the maximum diameter of the abnormal twisted wire part is larger than the round hole 2 of the chip, and then strike on a chip movement detection plate 14. Then abnormality for twisted wire is detected as an electrical signal only when the chip 1 strikes on the movement detection plate 14. Consequently, the abnormality for twisted wire is found to stop the running twisted wire, and the abnormal part is therefore easily and accurately detected.

Fresh water is replenished to a water curtain device 11 and the water overflowing from circulating tanks 14'', 15'' is recovered in the tank 2. Fresh acid solns. are supplied only into divided acid tanks 6, and the acid solns. overflowing from a circulating acid tank 4'' are recovered into a waste acid tank so as to be subjected to waste liquid treatment.
