Abstract: PURPOSE:To economically produce a fluororesin coated body having fine appearance by finely roughening the surface of a base material such as Al by chemical etching, chemically treating the roughened surface with an alkali or a halogen free acid and coating the treated surface with fluororesin. CONSTITUTION:The surface of Al or Al alloy is finely roughened by chemical or electrochemical etching. The roughened surface is chemically treated with an alkali such as NaOH or a halogen free acid such as sulfuric acid so that the weight of the surface is reduced by and then the treated surface is coated with fluororesin. A fluororesin coated body having high adhesive strength of the fluororesin coating layer to the base material and fine appearance can be economically produced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion of a basic plate, exfoliation of film, color change, etc., by printing scale, patterns, characters, etc., at a prescribed position on a etching- processed surface which is previously designed, forming a fluororesin layer which does not contain fillers on the whole surface of a plate having the above-described surface and carrying out press molding. CONSTITUTION:After the surface of an Al or Al alloy plate 1 is etching-processed, scale, patterns, characters, etc., 3 are printed or painted at a prescribed position on the etching-processed surface which is previously designed so that the printed or painted position is set at a desired position after press molding. Further, a fluororesin layer 4 which does not contain fillers is formed on the whole surface of the plate having the etching-processed surface including the printed or painted part, and the fluororesin coated article such as rice cooker and pan is manufactured through press molding. Accordingly, scale, patterns, characters, etc., can be formed without deteriorating the characteristics of the fluororesin coating on the fluororesin coated article such as the inner pan of a rice cooking jar, and easy confirmation in comparison with cutting is secured. Accordingly, the wide utilization in the scale display, manual writing, preparation for patterns on the cooking equipment is permitted.
