The present invention provides a lubricant composition for hot metal working which is capable of inhibiting generation of flaws on the surface of materials to be provided for hot metal working, and provides a method of hot metal working. The invention provides a lubricant composition for hot metal working comprising a plurality of glass frits respectively having different softening point from each other.

A raw pipe made of an Fe-Ni alloy, which has a chemical composition that C: 0.04 % or less, Si: 0.50 % or less, Mn: 0.01 to 6.0 %, P: 0.03 % or less, S: 0.01 % or less, Cr: 20 to 30 %, Ni: 30 to 45 %, Mo: 0 to 10 %, W: 0 to 20 %, Cu: 0.01 to 1.5 %, Al: 0.01 % or less, N: 0.0005 to 0.20 % and the balance: substantially Fe, with the proviso that Mo(%) + 0.5W(%) is more than 1.5 % and not more than 10 %, wherein 1440 - 6000P - 100S - 2000C = 1300, Ni + 10(Mo + 0.5W) + 100N = 120, (Ni - 35) + 10(N - 0.1) - 2(Cr -25) - 5(Mo + 0.5W - 3) + 8 = 0 are satisfied. The above raw pipe made of the Fe-Ni alloy is excellent in the property of the inner surface thereof and thus can be finished into a seamless pipe by the use of Mannesman piercer, and the resultant seamless pipe has excellent mechanical properties and also excellent in the corrosion resistance under a sour gas circumstance. Accordingly, the above raw pipe made of the Fe-Ni alloy can be utilized as a raw pipe for an oil well pipe and a line pipe, and further as a raw pipe for various structural members in a nuclear power plant and a chemical industry plant.

A plug (2) used for a boring machine, comprises a tip part (23), a cylindrical part (24), a body part (25), a core joining part (22), and a jetting hole (21). The jetting hole (21) is passed through from the surface of the cylindrical part (24) to the surface of the core joining part (22), and jets a lubricant fed from the outside thereto. A bored material forms a clearance from the cylindrical part (24). Since the jetting hole (21) is formed in the cylindrical part (24), the material during boring is not brought into contact with the jetting hole (21). Accordingly, scores resulting from the contact of the material on the jetting hole (21) can be prevented from occurring on the inner surface of the material.

A nickel base alloy material tube which has a chemical composition that C = 0.04 %, Si = 0.50 %, Mn: 0.01 to 6.0 %, P = 0.03 %, S = 0.01 %, Cr: 15 to 30 %, Ni: more than 45 % and not more than 60 %, Mo: 0 to 18 %, W: 0 to 36 %, with the proviso that Mo (%) + 0.5W (%): more than 1.5 % and not more than 18 %, Cu: 0.01 to 1.5 %, Al = 0.01 %, N: 0.0005 to 0.20 %, and the balance: substantially Fe, wherein 1380 - 5000P - 100S - 4400C = 1300, Ni + 10(Mo + 0.5W) + 100N = 200, and (Ni - 50) + 10(N - 0.1) -2(Cr -25) - 5(Mo + 0.5W - 6) + 12 = 0 are satisfied. The above nickel base alloy material tube has excellent inner surface characteristics being sufficient to be finished into a seamless pipe by the use of Mannesman piercer. The resultant seamless pipe has an excellent mechanical properties and also excellent in the corrosion resistance under the sour gas environment, and thus, the above nickel base alloy material tube can be utilized as a material tube for an oil well pipe and a line pipe and further a material tube for various structural members in a nuclear power plant and a chemical plant.

A tool steel for hot working has a chemical composition: C: 0.05 to 0.5 %, Si: 0.1 to 1 %, Mn: 1.6 to 3.5 %, Ni: 0.05 to 0.5 %, Mo: 2 to 5 %, W: 2 to 5 %, Cu: 0.05 to 0.5 % and the balance: substantially Fe. The tool steel may further contain one or more of Cr, Co, REM, Ti, Nb, V, ZR and B; and a tool which is made of the above steel and has a surface covered with an oxide scale having a thickness of 50 to 1500 µm. The tool steel can have an oxide scale being formed on the surface thereof and exhibiting good adhesion to the surface and good lubricity, and has high strength. The tools include a drilling plug for use in producing a seamless pipe as a representative example.

The present invention provide a two-component anti-seizure agent for hot metal working process comprising the first aqueous solution and the second aqueous solution, wherein the first aqueous solution contains 10~30 mass % of sodium silicate equivalent to anhydride to 100 mass % of total mass of the first aqueous solution, and the second aqueous solution contains at least one kind Selected from a group consisting of: an organic acid and water-soluble amine salts thereof, an inorganic acid and water-soluble amine salts thereof, a water-soluble amine, a water-soluble alcohol, and a water-soluble metal chloride. When the two-component anti-seizure agent is applied onto disk-roll type guide shoes, it can be provided and maintained on the circumferential surface of the disk-roll type guide shoes without washed away by rolls' cooling water. Thereby, the anti-seizure agent does not adhere to rolls and the rolls and a pipe material do not cause slippage each other. Thus, it is capable to carry out piercing-rolling of the pipe material.
