Abstract: This disclosure generally relates to methods of assembling an alternating current (AC) photovoltaic (PV) module, including a direct current (DC) PV module and a micro-inverter, at an assembly location. One example method includes assembling the AC PV module by mechanically attaching and electrically grounding the micro-inverter to the DC PV module, testing a DC electrical continuity between the DC PV module and the micro-inverter, and labeling the AC PV module as compliant with a code or standard.
