In particular it relates to fungicidal and insecticidal mixtures wherein the androstan derivative is a compound of formula (I), wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are as defined herein, as well as to the use of such mixtures in treating plants, plant parts, plant propagation material, or a plant growing locus. The invention further extends to methods of improving the yield, vigour, quality, and/or tolerance to stress factors of plants through such an application of such mixtures, as well as the use of such mixtures in controlling pests such as fungi and/or insects.
