    Abstract: Provided are a display apparatus having improved display quality, and a method of manufacturing the display apparatus. The display apparatus includes a pixel circuit layer arranged on a substrate, and a display element layer arranged on the pixel circuit layer. The display element layer includes a display element including a pixel electrode, an intermediate layer arranged on the pixel electrode, and an opposite electrode, a pixel-defining layer having an opening that exposes a portion of the pixel electrode, a spacer arranged on the pixel-defining layer, and a conductive pattern arranged on the spacer.
