An electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a transparent member; a display panel arranged below the transparent member; an ultrasonic sensor, arranged below the display panel, for acquiring biometric information by using ultrasonic waves having passed through the display panel and the transparent member for an external object close to the transparent member; and a light absorbing member for absorbing, through the transparent member and the display panel, at least a part of external light incident on the ultrasonic sensor, wherein the light absorbing member can be arranged between the display panel and the ultrasonic sensor. Other various examples are possible.

Disclosed is an electronic device that includes a housing including a first plate facing a first direction, the first plate including a fingerprint sensing area, a second plate facing a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a side member interposed between the first and second plates, a touch screen display interposed between the first and second plates and having at least a portion exposed through the first plate of the housing, a fingerprint sensor interposed between the touch screen display and the second plate, and a processor connected to the fingerprint sensor. The processor may determine whether the fingerprint sensing area is contaminated and determine whether to register a fingerprint image captured by the fingerprint sensor based on whether the fingerprint sensing area is contaminated. In addition, it is possible to implement other various embodiment understood through the disclosure.

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure may include a communication module configured to communicate wirelessly with an external device; an ear jack configured to include at least one ear jack terminal; an audio processing unit configured to process an audio signal; and a control unit configured to: detect a coupling with the external device through the ear jack, determine whether the electronic device is in a power transmission mode, control the audio processing unit to generate an ear jack signal when the electronic device is in a power transmission mode, output the ear jack signal by amplifying the ear jack signal so that power is supplied to the coupled external device, and to output the audio signal to the ear jack terminal when the electronic device is not in a power transmission mode.
