    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a sensor, a display, a processor, and a memory including instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to acquire display feature information based on a state of the electronic device, receive a first user input which selects a first icon displayed in a first area of the display for executing an application, determine a multi-window layout for displaying an execution screen of multiple applications in response to the first user input, based on the display feature information, display the determined multi-window layout in a second area of the display, display a second icon to which an operation of storing the displayed multi-window layout is mapped, upon receiving a second user input of selecting the second icon, store the multi-window layout, and generate a third icon to which the multi-window layout is mapped, and display the third icon in the first area.

    Abstract: An electronic device capable of touch event processing is provided. The electronic device includes first and second surfaces oriented in different directions, the second surface being narrower than the first surface, a touchscreen display including a touch panel, and having a first section exposed through the first surface and a second section exposed through the second surface, a processor electrically connected with the touchscreen display, and a memory that stores instructions that cause, when executed, the processor to activate the touch panel, to detect a first touch event on one of the first section and the second section, to detect a second touch event on the other section after detection of the first touch event, to remove one of the first touch event and the second touch event, and to perform a function according at least partly to the remaining touch event.
