Abstract:
An electronic apparatus is provided, which includes a display, a sensor including first and second light emitters which respectively emit first and second light, and a first light receiver which receives light reflected against an object positioned in front of the display, and a processor electrically connected with the display and the sensor and controlling the display based on a distance from the object calculated according to a time period that one of the first and second light is reflected against the object and returned, in which the processor drives the first light emitter and second light emitter such that the first light emitter and second light emitter emit at least a portion of the first and second light to different illumination regions.
Abstract:
A display apparatus includes a display unit configured to display a screen; a bezel formed along a boundary of the display unit and configured to output light; and a control unit configured to control lighting of the bezel, wherein the control unit is further configured to control a lighting area of the bezel to provide visual feedback corresponding to a status of the display apparatus to a user.
Abstract:
A user terminal apparatus is provided. The user terminal apparatus includes: a communicator configured to communicate with a display apparatus and a server; and a processor configured to determine whether to receive additional information from the server based on the context information of the display apparatus received from the display apparatus, and to control the communicator to transmit, to the display apparatus, a signal for controlling a status of the display apparatus based on at least one of the context information and the additional information.
Abstract:
A user terminal for controlling a display device and a control method thereof are provided. The user terminal includes a communicator configured to communicate with the display device, a main controller configured to control the user terminal, and a sub-controller configured to control the user terminal while the user terminal is in a sleep mode, wherein the sub-controller is configured to change a mode of the user terminal from the sleep mode to a standby mode in response to the communicator receiving environmental change detection information or user detection information from the display device while the user terminal is in the sleep mode.
Abstract:
A display apparatus and a driving method of the display apparatus are provided. The display apparatus includes a display configured to display an image, a stand configured to support the display, a stand driver configured to control a position of the stand according to a user input, a detector configured to detect an operation state of the stand driver, and a controller configured to generate an alarm signal indicating an abnormal operation state of the stand driver in response to the operation state detected by the detector indicating the abnormal operation state.
Abstract:
A user terminal apparatus and an electronic apparatus are provided. The user terminal apparatus including a first communicator configured to perform wireless communication with an external apparatus; a second communicator configured to perform bilateral wireless communication with the external apparatus; a storage configured to store information about a connection with an access point; and a controller configured to control the first communicator to transmit a control signal to the external apparatus, to initiate a pairing operation with the external apparatus, and in response to performing the pairing, to control the second communicator to transmit the information about the connection with the access point to the external apparatus.
Abstract:
A user terminal (100) for controlling a display device (200) and a control method thereof are provided. The user terminal includes a communicator (120) configured to communicate with the display device, a main controller (131) configured to control the user terminal, and a sub-controller (132) configured to control the user terminal while the user terminal is in a sleep mode, wherein the sub-controller is configured to change a mode of the user terminal from the sleep mode to a standby mode in response to the communicator receiving environmental change detection information or user detection information from the display device while the user terminal is in the sleep mode.
