Abstract:
An assembly includes a wire antenna including at least on conductive turn, a first fibrous substrate on which the antenna extend. The first substrate comprises at least one coated paper including a fibrous base containing at least 30 mass % of natural fibres in the fibrous mass. The antenna is connected to a face of the flexible substrate. The paper includes on that face at least one surface layer containing at least one mineral load and a coating binder. The fibrous base may contain at least 40 mass %, preferably 50 mass %, more preferably 60 mass % and ideally at least 70 mass % of natural fibres, with preferably a lower proportion of long natural fibres relative to short ones when the fibrous mass includes synthetic fibres, in particular between 5 and 25% of synthetic fibres.
Abstract:
A security substrate may include at least one area for authentication and/or for revealing attempts at forgery using solvents. The at least one area may include individualized polymer- or copolymer-based particles comprising at least one visible or detectable marker. The polymer or copolymer may be at least partially soluble in solvents used for forgery.

Abstract:
The invention relates to an assembly including an article to be authenticated, an authentication composition and a member for applying the composition, capable of retaining said composition by capillarity, wherein the article to be identified contains a first reagent selected from nickel, copper, cobalt or iron derivatives, or from dithiooxamide or oxime derivatives capable of reacting with a second reagent of the authentication composition selected respectively from among dithioxmide or oxmime derivatives or from nickel, copper, cobalt or iron derivatives, so as to form a visible and permanent coloured mark.
Abstract:
A laminated structure for an E-document, comprising a first support layer defining at least two flat flaps connected by at least one fold line, the first flap supporting an antenna and a microcircuit device enabling contactless data exchange, the second flap supporting an electromagnetic interference element arranged in relation to the microcircuit device so as to be able to oppose contactless reading and/or writing of the microcircuit device in at least one folded configuration of the structure, the structure having at least one heat-activated or pressure-sensitive adhesive layer making it possible to receive the microcircuit device and/or the antenna and/or the electromagnetic interference element at least in part in its thickness, and/or the flaps having at least one layer of an adhesive and/or a fibrous layer and/or a polymer layer having a different thickness for each of the flaps.
Abstract:
A method of reading at least one bar code carried by a substrate, the method including: a) generating, especially in an automatic manner, when presenting the bar code to a system for reading the bar code, at least one authentication cue related to an intrinsic physical characteristic of the substrate and independent of the data contained in the bar code, and b) allowing the reading of the bar code, only in the event of a positive authentication of the substrate or reading the bar code regardless of the result of the authentication of the substrate and in the event of negative authentication of the substrate, preventing access to just one part of the data contained in the bar code and/or to any data that may be associated with the bar code, and which is stored on a separate data medium from the substrate.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a security document, useful in particular for preventing falsification and counterfeiting of payment vouchers or official documents by reproduction, characterized in that it includes, as security means, a security protection feature (M) consisting of a first feature (M1) formed from substances exhibiting an interferential effect and of a second feature (M2) formed from substances that react to certain stimulations, such as light radiation or thermal, magnetic, electromagnetic, electrical or microwave-type stimulation, giving a light response visible to the human eye or a specific signal detectable by means of a suitable apparatus. The invention also relates to the method of producing said document.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a structure (1) for use in fabricating a security document or a document of value, the structure comprising: an electronic device (8); an inset layer (2) made at least in part out of fiber, and including a window (4) within which the electronic device (8) extends, at least in part; and an adhesive layer (6) in contact with the inset layer.
