    Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure the coincidence between the fetched data and the data to undergo the after-processing by setting and storing the input digit number of the measurement data and arranging the number of digits of the input data based on the set input digit number. CONSTITUTION:The input digit number is set previously by a setting part 2 and stored in an input digit number memory part 4. When a data collecting part 8 receives data from a measuring device 6, the digit number set value is taken out of the part 4 and supplied to the part 8. In case the digit numbers of both integer and decimal parts of the measurement data are smaller than the set digit number, the measurement data is sent to an arithmetic control part 10 as it is. If the digit number of the decimal part of the measurement data is larger than the set digit number of the decimal part, the decimal digit number of the measurement data are arranged by rounding the decimal digit number to the nearest whole number in response to the set digit number of the decimal part and then sent to the part 10. While a fact that the digit number has an overflow is informed to an output control part 12 in case the digit number of the integer part of the measurement data is larger than the set digit number.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To relieve a load on a computer while automating analysis by using a mediate unit with a memory function and control function. When the number of digits of the decimal part obtained from the measurement result is larger than those of the decimal part set previously, the number of digits of the decimal part of the measurement result are rounded to nearest whole number so that they are equal to the output digit number of the decimal part set previously. Then the result of measurement is delivered. While the occurrence of an overflow is outputted to an external output part and a computer if the number of digits of the integer part obtained as the result of measurement are larger than those of the integer part set previously.

Then, a comparing means 8 compares the measured values of an object to be measured and the normal range for the object from the normal range calculating means 6 with each other and judges whether the measured values exceed the normal range. When the measured values exceed the normal range, a warning is given from a warning means 10 by the signals from the comparing means 8. Thus, errors in a measurement can be easily and properly indicated.
