Abstract:
A velocity-image creating unit creates a velocity image that indicates a distribution of velocity components with respect to each of a plurality of images obtained by repeating a plurality of number of times Echo Planar Imaging (EPI) that is capable of obtaining velocity components of a Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) flowing inside a subject. A velocity-variance image creating unit calculates variance of velocity components along the time sequence by same position on velocity images by using a plurality of created velocity images. A superimposed-image processing unit then superimposes the distribution of the variance of the velocity components according to the velocity-variance image on an average absolute-value image, and an image display unit displays a superimposed image.
Abstract:
A flame-retardant resin composition comprises 25 to 150 parts by weight of (B) a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, 5 to 40 parts by weight of (C) a phosphinic acid compound comprising a salt of at least one member selected from the group consisting of a phosphinic acid, a diphosphinic acid, and a polymerized product thereof, and 0.5 to 20 parts by weight of (D) an epoxy compound, relative to 100 parts by weight of (A) a polybutylene terephthalate-series resin. Such a flame-retardant resin composition is useful for various molded products and for covering the surface of an electric wire, or the like. The present invention provides a halogen-free flame-retardant resin composition which has a high heat resistance and a high flame retardancy and is excellent in hydrolysis resistance, abrasion resistance, and moldability (e.g., extrusion properties).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a catalyst used for manufacturing an optically active carbonyl compound by selective asymmetric hydrogenation of an α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compound, which is insoluble in a reaction mixture, and a method for manufacturing the corresponding optically active carbonyl compound. Particularly, the invention provides a catalyst for obtaining an optically active citronellal useful as a flavor or fragrance, by selective asymmetric hydrogenation of citral, geranial or neral. The invention relates to a catalyst for asymmetric hydrogenation of an α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compound, which comprises: a powder of at least one metal selected from metals belonging to Group 8 to Group 10 of the Periodic Table, or a metal-supported substance in which the at least one metal is supported on a support; an optically active peptide compound; and an acid, and also relates to a method for manufacturing an optically active carbonyl compound using the same.
Abstract:
A magnetic resonance imaging method according to an embodiment includes performing a balanced SSFP sequence, repeatedly applies an excitation RF pulse to a subject at intervals of a repetition time and applies gradient magnetic field pulses balanced such that a time integral becomes zero within each interval of the repetition time, while further applying a spin labeling gradient magnetic field for generating one or more continuous spin labels within each interval of the repetition time.
