Abstract: Communication becomes impossible for many mobile stations when a communication failure occurs in a fixed station while the mobile stations are operating in an infrastructure mode. Provided is a communication system that includes a plurality of mobile stations and at least one of a base station and a wireless LAN access point, wherein the plurality of mobile stations establish communication with each other and form an ad hoc network that realizes a mesh network topology, and at least one mobile station among the plurality of mobile stations establishes communication with at least one of the base station and the wireless LAN access point, and connects another mobile station among the plurality of mobile stations to the at least one of the base station and the wireless LAN access point using a tethering function.

Abstract: When bandwidth is dynamically allocated for audio communication via satellite communication, newly occurring audio communication can negatively affect the communication quality of the existing audio communication. Provided is a data communication apparatus that communicates via a satellite and includes an allocation control section that allocates in advance, for audio communication via the satellite, a bandwidth that is larger than a bandwidth needed for current audio communication being performed via satellite by at least a predetermined bandwidth. Abstract: To provide a system comprising: an unmanned aerial vehicle; and a free space location database, wherein the unmanned aerial vehicle has: a camera that is capable of 360°-image capturing on a horizontal plane; a positioning apparatus that measures a location of the unmanned aerial vehicle; a direction measuring apparatus that measures a direction of the unmanned aerial vehicle; an altitude measuring apparatus that measures an altitude of the unmanned aerial vehicle; and an information transmitting unit that transmits, to the free space location database, camera image data captured by the camera at every predetermined altitude, and the location, direction and altitude of the unmanned aerial vehicle at time of image capturing by the camera, and based on the camera image data, and the location, direction and altitude of the unmanned aerial vehicle, the free space location database corrects 3D data including terrain information to generate free space location data.
