Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow quick synchronization even when a frequency spectrum is inverted. SOLUTION: A coded data decoding part 17 decodes demodulated data which is obtained by demodulating an orthogonal demodulated signal arising from digital modulation of a carrier and is composed of in-phase axis data and orthogonal axis data, to generate decoded data C1 and decodes demodulated data obtained by interchanging the in-phase axis data and the orthogonal axis data of the decoded data C1, to generate decoded data C2, and a synchronization detector 19 detects a synchronizing word from serial data D1 corresponding to the decoded data C1 and detects a synchronizing word from serial data D2 corresponding to the decoded data C2 and selects and outputs one of serial data D1 and serial data D2 on the basis of the detection result. This invention is applicable to a decoding device which detects synchronization by decoding demodulated data resulting from demodulating a quadrature modulated signal obtained by digital modulation of a carrier. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the operability and practicability of a sentence producing device by changing automatically an inputted improper undefined code into a defined code. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 4 serves as a means which decides whether an input code is undefined or not. Then the CPU compares the address of an undefined area of a KANJI (Chinese characters) code table of KANJI ROM 9 stored in a RAM 5 with the address corresponding to a character code supplied from an address converting circuit 3. If the coincident addresses are detected, the presence of an undefined code is decided and changed automatically into the address of a defined area adjacent to the undefined area after a skipping process. In such a way, the operability and the practicability are improved with a sentence producing device.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain point-to-point packet communication being transparent between users by setting an address added at the transmission of packet communication to a caller data terminal equipment and to a line terminator in the case of receiving a call. CONSTITUTION:A required data is read from a memory 6 under the control of a CPU 2, an address is generated from an address generating circuit 8 and fed to a signal format processing circuit 12. The circuit 12 sets an address of a frame of a link access protocol balanced (LAP-B) to the data terminal equipment 1 at the transmission of the packet communication started at the reception of the call. Moreover, the address of the frame of the LAP-B is set to the position of the line terminator at the transmission of the packet communication started at the reception of the call. Thus, the address of the caller is set as the equipment 1 and the address of the called party receiving a call request is set as the line terminator. Thus, transparent point-to-point packet communication is attained between two data terminal equipments.
