Abstract:
Transmitted light through a film which is obtained by applying projected light to an image information recording region of the film is directed to a photoelectric conversion means to acquire the image information by the photoelectric conversion. A deflecting means which deflects the transmitted light is provided. A 1st group of image information is acquired by the photoelectric conversion of the 1st transmitted light which is the transmitted light before the deflection by the deflecting means and is transmitted through a 1st recording region in the recording region. A 2nd group of image information is acquired by the photoelectric conversion of the 2nd transmitted light which is the transmitted light after the deflection by the deflecting means and is transmitted through a 2nd recording region in the recording region. The 1st image information group and the 2nd image information group are combined to generate synthesized image information. Thus a high resolution image acquisition device by which the high resolution image information can be acquired from the film with a simple construction can be realized.
Abstract:
A recording device and a reproducing device by which the storage space of tapes can be small by changing the image compression ratio maintaining the image quality of a material required by the user. Since the ratio of compression of an image performed by a (1:N) image data compressing encoder (3) and a (1:N) picture data compressing decoder (6) is changed in accordance with the image quality set by means of a setter (5) by the user. The tape movement speed of an archive VTR 4 is changed in accordance with the image compressing ratio. The amount of tape moved is arbitrary set in accordance with the image quality. Therefore the storage space of tapes can be arbitrarily selected in accordance with the picture quality.
Abstract:
A servo circuit is provided for use with a reproducing apparatus wherein an information signal is reproduced from an elongated slant track formed on a tape which is wrapped on the periphery of a guide drum having a rotary head. The servo circuit includes a circuit for detecting an intermediate point of the length of the slant track and generating a timing signal at the detection of the intermediate point and a circuit for comparing the timing signal with a reference pulse to generate a control signal. A relative position of the slant track to the rotary head is controlled in accordance with the control signal.

In a digital data recording and reproducing device, an operation of error detection is perlormed by circuits (51, 52) with respect to data with weighting provided with a code word dissolution of M bits in upper m1 bits of the most significant bit side of great weighting and lower m2 bits of the least significant side of small weighting. Error concealment (53) is carried out for each of these error detections. When reproducing data at a different tape speed from that at the time of recording, the operation of the circuit (52) for detecting an error in lower m2 bits is inhibited, and the reference of judgement of an error in the data is altered.
