Abstract: PURPOSE: To make the vertical moving speed of a blind correctly constant with inexpensive structure in a motor-driven blind. CONSTITUTION: A height sensor generates pulses of frequency corresponding to the speed of a blind vertically moved by a DC motor M. An MPU 10 compares the value of a counter, counting in a fixed cycle synchronously with the state of the blind moving vertically at the ideal constant speed, with the output pulse number of the height sensor every fixed cycle so as to output the difference between the present ideal position and actual position of the blind. An F/V converter 15 generates the speed error voltage of the blind on the basis of the frequency of the output pulse number of the height sensor. The output value of the MPU 10 is converted into position error voltage by a D/A converter 11. The difference between this position error voltage and the speed error voltage is computed by a comparator 13 to apply driving voltage to the motor M.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically operated blind in which troubles caused by breakage of lifting ropes can be previously and stably prevented. SOLUTION: In this blind, slats can be vertically moved by moving up and down the lifting ropes by the driving force of a motor 28. A lower limit detector 33 outputting a detection signal when a slack of the rope is detected, is installed in a head box. The motor 28 can be driven by a controller 5 through a motor controller 22, and the motor controller 22 can stop the actuation of the motor 28 on the basis of the detection signal outputted from the lower limit detector 33. The motor controller 22 can stop the actuation of the motor 28 on the basis of the detected signal of the lower limit detector 33, at the lifting-up motion or the lowering motion of the slats.

CONSTITUTION:Rheostats 10, 11 detect the state of a blind and output a corresponding analog signal to an A/D converter 60, and the A/D converter 60 converts the analog signal into a digital signal. That is, even when the supply of operating power is interrupted temporarily in a controller by service interruption, etc., the angular position of the slat of the blind is detected instantaneously by the angle sensor 10 composed of the rheostat on restoration in the same manner as the height sensor 11.
