Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the depth of a head box of a motor-driven horizontal blind which performs slat lifting operation and angle adjusting operation with independent motors respectively. SOLUTION: A take-up shaft 11 is provided with a take-up control device which winds up spirally a lifting cord 10 on the take-up shaft based on the rotary drive of a slat lifting motor while turning the take-up shaft where a slat angle adjusting shaft 6 is laid out directly under the take-up shaft 11 and a guide member 17 is provided on a support member 5 so as to avoid contact with the slat angle adjusting shaft 6 and the lifting cord 10. An automatic stop device 18, which stops the operation of the slat lifting motor 13 by detecting the slack of the lifting cord 10, is provided between the take-up shaft 11 and the slat angle adjusting shaft 6.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar radiation shielding member elevating device for a motor-driven blind increasing elevating cord winding length onto an elevating cord winding shaft without changing the diameter of the elevat ing cord winding shaft and a space between a head box end and an elevating cord closest to the head box end. SOLUTION: An elevating cord winding shaft 9 is rotatably supported into a head box 1. Elevating cords 8 of solar radiation shie1ding members 3 are supported hanging down from the elevating cord winding shaft 9 and axially moved while rotating the elevating cord winding shaft 9 by a solar radiation member elevating motor 24 disposed in the head box 1, to wind the elevating cords 8 spirally onto the elevating cord winding shaft 9 or rewind it, thus elevating the solar radidation shielding members 3. In a motor-driven blind of such constitution, the solar radiation shielding member elevating motor 24 is disposed in a position off the extension line in the moving direction of the elevating cord winding shaft 9.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll blind in which a screen can be lowered up to a position at a lower limit without depending upon the place of the fixing of the lower tip section of a guide wire. SOLUTION: In the roll blind in which a winding shaft 3 is supported rotatably to a pair of support brackets 2, the guide wires 6 are tensed on both sides of the screen 4 capable of being wound on the winding shaft 3 and the screen 4 can be lifted and lowered along the guide wires 6, a guide bar 10 being movably installed along the guide wires 6 and being capable of being held at the lower end sections of the guide wires 6 and a weight bar 14 being mounted at the lower end section of the screen 4, being elevated and lowered together with the guide bar 10 on the basis of the lifting and lowering of the screen 4 and being capable of being made to ascend and descend along the guide bars 6 by the guide bar 10 are secured, and only the weight bar 14 can be elevated and brought down in a section lower than the places of the lower ends of the guide wires 6.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the minute adjustment of lower limit position of a bottom rail by arranging a winding shaft for a ladder cord supported by a tape holder within the bottom rail, and rotating it by an adjusting piece provided on a cap. SOLUTION: A mounting hole 4 for a tape holder 3 is provided on the lower surface of the bottom rail 1 of a horizontal blind, and both longitudinal ends of the tape holder 3 are engaged with the bottom rail 1, and a support edge 6 raised in the center of a bottom edge 5 is fitted to the mounting hole 4. Locking parts 8a, 8b are provided on the circumferential surface of the support edge 6 at an interval of 90 deg. to rotatably support a winding shaft 7 having a hexagonal hole 9 in the center, and the lower end of a ladder cord 2 is mounted on the locking parts 8a, 8b. An adjusting piece having a locking groove for a cross-tip screw driver on the base end surface is rotatably supported by one of caps at both ends of the bottom rail 1, and a drive shaft at the tip of the shaft part is fitted into the hexagonal hole 9 of the winding shaft 7. The adjusting piece is rotated by the cross-tip screwdriver, whereby the minute adjustment of lower limit position of the bottom rail 1 can be easily performed.
