The invention relates to a rotary hydraulic machine which includes a casing (2) containing pistons actuated by an input shaft, said casing having a transverse front surface provided so as to engage with a mounting, and a transverse rear surface receiving a rear cover (4) supporting collectors connected to said pistons, the casing comprising side attachment tabs (30, 40) each having an axial bore (32) ending in a rear clamping surface, provided such as to receive an element for clamping said machine to the mounting, characterised in that at least one tab forms an axially elongate pad (40), the height of which is greater than half of the length of said casing included between the front and rear surfaces thereof.

A transmission for a hydraulic hybrid motor vehicle, comprising a planetary gear train (30) capable of differential operation, comprising a first element (32) linked to a heat engine (34), a second element (40) linked to the drive wheels (22), and a third element (36) linked to a hydraulic pump (64), this transmission (1) further comprising a means for driving the drive wheels (8) by a hydraulic machine (2), characterised in that the link between the third element (36) of the planetary gear train (30) and the hydraulic pump (64) comprises a speed reducer (38, 60) that provides, when the whole of this train is rotating at the same speed, a reduction in the speed of rotation of the pump relative to that of the heat engine (34) that is greater than a value of approximately two.

A transmission for a hydraulic hybrid motor vehicle includes a planetary gear train (30) capable of differential operation. The planetary gear train has a first element (32) linked to an internal combustion engine (34), a second element (40) linked to drive wheels (22) of the vehicle, and a third element (36) linked to a hydraulic pump (64). The transmission (1) further includes a hydraulic machine which drives the drive wheels (22) by way of a link between the third element (36) of the planetary gear train (30) and the hydraulic pump (64). This link includes a speed reducer (38, 60) that provides, when the whole of the planetary gear train is rotating at the same speed, a reduction in the speed of rotation of the pump relative to that of the internal combustion engine (34) that is greater than a value of approximately two.
