Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitution-revise an old transceiver so as to satisfy the request for parity, in spite of the different radiation angle in a primary state. SOLUTION: In a transceiver 1 executing radio data transmission, a transmission unit 2 and receiving unit 3 are constituted or revised to nearly equalize the radiating characteristic of a transmitter 2 and the sensitivity characteristic of a receiver 3 or at least the horizontal radiation angle of the transmitter 2 and the horizontal opening angle of the receiver. At the time of matching the radiation and opening angles at a conventional transceiver, a pipe-state light shielding part reducing the angle is used, or an additional transmission or reception constituting part is fixed so as to increase an angle generated as a result of it. By matching the radiation characteristic with sensitivity characteristic, the request for parity within the frame of a scheduled AIR standard is satisfied, and a transmitting distance is increased by nearly ten times in this manner.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transceiver constituting element for performing optical data transmission for burdening an adjusted voltage supply part with only little current absorption. SOLUTION: For this transceiver constituting element 1 for performing the optical data transmission, a transmitter, a receiver and at least one integrated circuit are arranged inside a common housing 2. The housing 2 is provided with a series of connection parts 3 and the connection parts of the transceiver constituting element are provided so as to supply a driving current mainly for the transmitter. Thus, the transmitter provided with the large current absorption is directly connected to a non-adjusted voltage supply part such as a power source adapter, a storage battery pack or a battery for instance. The adjusted voltage supply part is designed at a small and desirable cost at the time.

Abstract: An optoelectronic component for data transmission with infrared radiation is described. This component integrates in a single housing an infrared transmitter, an infrared receiver and an integrated circuit for signal conditioning. owing to a particular design of the connecting legs, all of which emerge from the housing at one lateral face and are bent twice through 90° so that they extend in part parallel to this lateral face and in part to the rear side, and owing to additional protrusions on the housing in the form of supporting feet and a bearing shoulder, it is possible to process the IrDA transceiver module both in the top view and in the side view position in surface mounting technology. Assembly is performed with an accuracy that is typical for surface mount devices. No additional mounting aids are needed.
