Abstract: A cleaning system (10a-10g) comprising a liquid source (12) configured to provide a feed liquid at a first temperature, and an electrolysis cell (18) configured to receive the feed liquid and to electrochemically activate the feed liquid to provide an electrochemically-activated liquid, wherein the electrochemical activation also heats the feed liquid such that the electrochemically-activated liquid is at an elevated temperature that is greater than the first temperature. The cleaning system also includes a dispenser (20) configured to dispense the electrochemically-activated liquid.
