Abstract: The invention relates to an adhesive tape in particular for wrapping cables, consisting of a preferably textile carrier and of a pressure sensitive adhesive, applied on at least one side of the carrier, in the form of a dried polymer dispersion, the polymer having been synthesized from: (a) 95.0 to 100.0 wt % of n-butyl acrylate and/or 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (b) 0.0 to 5.0 wt % of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having an acid or acid-anhydride function.
