Abstract:
The present invention relates to an adhesive tape of thickness 40 to 300 μm that can be redetached without residue or destruction by stretching essentially in the plane of the bond, comprising at least one carrier of thickness 10 to 150 μm comprising at least one layer based on preferably uncrosslinked thermoplastic polyurethane that has typically been produced by means of extrusion and has a Shore A hardness of not more than 87, where the carrier has a ratio of force at 400% elongation F400% to breaking force Fbreak of not more than 45%, and on which a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is disposed on at least one side, and wherein the adhesive tape has a ratio of stripping force Fstrip to breaking force Fbreak of less than 60%. The invention also relates to an adhesive tape of thickness 40 to 300 μm that can be redetached without residue or destruction by stretching essentially in the plane of the bond, comprising at least one carrier of thickness 10 to 150 μm comprising at least one layer based on preferably uncrosslinked polyurethane that has been produced from a dispersion and has a modulus at 100% elongation of not more than 1.8 MPa, where the carrier has a ratio of force at 400% elongation F400% to breaking force Fbreak of not more than 30%, and on which a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is disposed on at least one side, and wherein the adhesive tape has a ratio of stripping force Fstrip to breaking force Fbreak of less than 60%. The invention also relates to a process for producing the adhesive tapes and to the use thereof for bonding of components in electronic devices.
Abstract:
The invention relates to bio-based polymer based on at least two different bio-based monomers obtained from biomass-containing carbohydrates, wherein at least one bio-based monomer is a furan derivative according to formula (I). In each case, independently of one another, R1 is a hydrogen or an organofunctional group with 1 to 20 C atoms and optionally, the organofunctional group contains O, N, or S atoms; R2 is an organofunctional group with 1 to 20 C atoms, which optionally contains O, N, or S atoms, the second bio-based monomer is a hydroxyl-functional compound comprising from 1 to 100 C atoms. The polymer has an average molecular weight Mw greater than or equal to 1,000 g/mol, and the proportion of bio-based monomers in the bio-based polymer is greater than or equal to 55 mol-% with respect to all monomers of the polymer.
Abstract:
A release liner that can be produced in a few method steps (e.g., a coextrusion step), exhibits very good interlaminate adhesion, and has little tendency to deform and deviate from planarity. The release liner is for use on pressure-sensitive adhesives and comprises:
a layer system (POL) comprising one or more layers and comprising in each layer, based in each case on the total weight of the layer, a total of at least 80% by weight of one or more polyolefins, where each layer of the layer system (POL) comprises polypropylene; at least one layer (PEL) comprising, based on the total weight of the layer (PEL), at least 80% by weight of polyethylene; and an anchoring layer that connects each layer (PEL) to the layer system (POL).
