    Abstract: A device for measuring sea billow height and billow cycle utilizes optical or suitable electric equip. The 1st measuring instrument measures the alternating vertical distance between the sea floor (16) and itself. The 2nd instrument that adjusts the alternating vertical distance, is hung on the supporting frame and is located below the water surface. The sea wave measuring instrument operates by unifying each vertical distance of the equip. (15) and measuring the water surface alternating height.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an anchor or foundation member for positioning a buoyant platform at an offshore location characterized by a sloping or irregular floor surface. The anchor includes initially separable members which are floated to an operating or anchoring site. A coupling member depending from the anchor is adapted to engage the lower end of the elongated, buoyant structure for retaining the latter in place at the water's surface. The coupling member is adjusted into vertical alignment with a connector depending downwardly from the marine structure. While being held in the upwardly aligned position by an enclosing retainer, a hardenable fluid such as cement is introduced to solidify and form the coupling and retainer member into a singular body.

    Abstract: A tension leg marine structure in which a buoyant vessel is maintained in a partially submerged condition by a plurality of hold-down cables. Each cable is fastened to the floating portion of the structure by a quick disconnect coupling which is adapted to be rapidly disengaged, thereby to release a hold-down cable at such time as the latter is relieved of tension. The released part of the unit can then be moved out of the way of floating objects which might otherwise cause it damage.
