Abstract: The method involves coating the interior surface of the viewing faceplate to form a volatilizable organic conductive (OC) layer. The OC layer is overcoated to form a volatilizable organic photoconductive (OPC) layer. the OPC layer is electrostatically charged. Selected areas of the OPC layer light are exposed to form a charge image. The charge image is developed with phosphor material.
