Abstract: Hierin ist eine Katheterpumpe offenbart. Die Katheterpumpe kann eine Katheterbaugruppe beinhalten, welche eine Antriebswelle und ein Laufrad umfasst, die an ein distales Ende der Antriebswelle gekoppelt sind. Eine angetriebene Baugruppe kann an ein proximales Ende der Antriebswelle innerhalb eines angetriebenen Baugruppengehäuses gekoppelt sein. Die Katheterpumpe kann auch ein Antriebssystem beinhalten, welches einen Motor und einen Antriebsmagneten umfasst, die an eine Abgangswelle des Motors gekoppelt sind. Das Antriebssystem kann ein Antriebsbaugruppengehäuse mit mindestens einem Magneten darin beinhalten. Ferner kann eine Sicherungsvorrichtung derart konfiguriert sein, dass sie ein Loslösen des angetriebenen Baugruppengehäuses von dem Antriebsbaugruppengehäuse während des Betriebes der Pumpe verhindert.

Abstract: A catheter pump assembly includes a catheter assembly that comprises a drive shaft 208 and a rotating impeller coupled to the distal end of the drive shaft. A driven assembly 201 is coupled to a proximal end of the drive shaft 208 within a housing 203. The catheter assembly includes a drive system 203 that comprises a motor 220 and a drive magnet 221 coupled to an output shaft of the motor. Further, a securing device is configured to prevent disengagement of the driven assembly housing from the drive assembly housing during operation of the pump. A distal end or tip portion (304, fig 13) of the catheter assembly (figs 13 & 14) is also disclosed and formed of a flexible material so as not to harm patient on insertion along a guidewire (312, fig 13).

Abstract: A catheter pump is disclosed herein. The catheter pump can include a catheter assembly that comprises a drive shaft and an impeller coupled to a distal end of the drive shaft. A driven assembly can be coupled to a proximal end of the drive shaft within a driven assembly housing. The catheter pump can also include a drive system that comprises a motor and a drive magnet coupled to an output shaft of the motor. The drive system can include a drive assembly housing having at least one magnet therein.
