Abstract: A biodegradable sheet comprising first and second outer polymer layers and at least a first inner polymer layer between the two outer layers wherein the first inner polymer layer comprises poly-caprolactone at a wt% of 35-45 of the total layer weight and a second polymer from the group of, poly-lactic acid, poly-butylene succinate, poly-butylene succinate adipate or a mixture thereof at a wt% of 55-65. The polymer layers may be co-extruded. The first outer polymer layer may comprise pol-butylene succinate and may further contain poly-hydroxyalkanoates. The first outer layer may instead comprise poly-butylene succinate adipate or poly-butylene adipate terphtalate and optionally also poly-lactic acid. The second outer polymer layer may comprise poly-butylene succinate adipate and optionally further include poly-caprolactone or may comprise poly-butylene adipate terphtalate with optional poly-lactic acid or may comprise poly-butylene succinate or a mixture of poly-butylene succinate adipate and poly-lactic acid. Second and third inner polymer layers may be included and the first inner polymer layer may be metalised on one or both sides.
