Abstract: The connecting eye for a sack suspension strap has a stirrup shaped frame (10) with a pair of bosses (100A,B), one of which has a bore (102) for the closure pin (11). The end of the pin has a head (111) which fits into a small diameter hole in the other boss (100B). The hole has a counter bore to receive stop abutments for the pin head. The abutments have sufficient elasticity to allow fitting of the pin head into the smaller hole without separation.
