Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroacoustic device capable of naturally amplifying voices of a plurality of speakers over the nearly entire range of a sound field with the sense of reality, and also, capable of making each speaker fully understand remark contents of the other speakers. SOLUTION: The electroacoustic device D1 is provided with a plurality of microphones M1, M2, ..., Mn; a mixing means 11; a first speaker 15; an automatic gain adjusting means 12; and electroacoustic transducers S1, S2, ..., Sn provided corresponding to at least one microphone in the plurality of microphones M1, M2, ..., Mn. The mixing means 11 generates a synthetic signal by synthesizing output signals of the plurality of microphones M1, M2, ..., Mn. The first speaker 15 converts the synthetic signal to a voice. The automatic gain adjusting means 12 imparts a gain to the synthetic signal, and automatically adjusts the gain corresponding to a level of the synthetic signal. The electroacoustic transducers S1, S2, ..., Sn convert output signals of the automatic gain adjusting means 12 to voices. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving apparatus for enhancing strength of composite signals. SOLUTION: Input parts IN 1 -IN n connect to antenna ANT 1 -ANT n and input received each RF (radio frequency) signals S 1 -S n . Adder ADD 1 to ADD n-1 synthesize the RF signals S 1 -S n to generate composite signals CS 1 to CS n-1 . A receiving part 13 demodulates the composite signal CS 1 and notifies a strength of the composite signal CS 1 to a control part 14. The control part 14 determines the phase control value, in response to changes in strength of the notified composite signal CS 1 and a control table 151 and notifies the phase control value to either one of variable phase shifters PH 2 -PH n . The phase shifters PH 2 -PH n change in phases of the RF signals S 2 -S n by the notified phase control value. An output part 17 outputs the composite signal CS 1 which is converted in frequency and demodulated to a loud speaker 3, and accordingly the occurrences of dead points can be suppressed. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver adopting an antenna switching diversity system that can reduce the effect of noise caused at switching of antennas. SOLUTION: A monitor section 6 monitors a reception state by a reception section 3, outputs a binary monitor signal according to the monitor result to a differential amplifier circuit 8. The level of the monitor signal is inverted every time the reception state of the reception section 3 is deteriorated. Transistors(TRs) 81, 82 being components of the differential amplifier circuit 8 are entirely inversely operated depending on the monitor signal. Thus, collector terminals of the TRs 81, 82 output signals inverted to each other at all times to turn on either of PIN diodes 21, 22 and to turn off the other. Since the PIN diodes 21, 22 are turned on/off in the same timing respectively, the antennas 1, 1 are switched at the same time thereby suppressing production of noise in the switching.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve an effect of a feeding pattern onto a transmission reception characteristic. SOLUTION: Relating to the microstrip antenna where one side of a dielectric base 1 has plural antenna elements 2 and nearly the entire face of the other side has a ground pattern 3, a feeding pattern 4 connecting the antenna elements 2 and a feeder 5 is placed on the side opposite to the side on which the antenna elements 2 are placed. Since the feeding pattern 4 does not act like a component of the microstrip line acting like the microstrip antenna, the effect of the feeding pattern 4 on the transmission reception characteristic of the entire antenna can be prevented. Furthermore, power is transmitted through a coplanar line consisting of the feeding pattern 4 and the ground pattern 3 on the same plane as the feeding pattern 4 between the antenna elements 2 and the feeder 5.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice signal characteristic adjuster capable of effectively preventing the occurrence of howling in an acoustic space in spite of its simple constitution and simple operation.
SOLUTION: The voice signal characteristic adjuster is provided with an input for inputting a voice signal, an output for outputting the voice signal, and a signal processor. The signal processor imparts a gain to the voice signal inputted by the input, and transmits the voice signal to the output after removing a frequency component higher than a cut-off frequency. The gain of the signal processor can be adjusted. The gain and the cut-off frequency are interlocked. The more the gain, the lower the cut-off frequency becomes. By this, the following problem can be solved, namely: (1) an operator conventionally adjusts acoustic equipment in the following manner so as to prevent the occurrence of howling in the acoustic space where microphones and speakers coexist; (2) the gain of an amplifier is increased to a level so that a loud-speaking sound with a sufficient sound volume can be provided to the acoustic space, however, the adjustment of the amplifier and that of a low-pass filter must be simultaneously executed, and therefore, adjustment work is complicated, especially, the adjustment work is difficult for an unskilled person.
