Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-operate pen recorder where an input part for receiving a measurement signal is formed in a unit, which can be miniaturized and expanded to have input parts more than the number of pen recording devices, and where a signal from any input unit can be recorded with a pen. SOLUTION: The pen recorder has an input unit 10 for receiving a measurement signal and a device body 100 where a plurality of slots for detachably placing the input unit 10 are formed. The input unit 10 has an amplifier 11, an A/D converter 12, and a sub controller 13 for processing a signal from the A/D converter 12, creating a measurement signal for display and a measurement signal for pen recording, transmitting the signals to a main controller 20 installed at the device body 100, and at the same time, performing communication control with the main controller 20. The device body 100 has a display device 50 and a memory device 60 and measurement data recorded at the memory device 60 can be recorded and reproduced at need by a pen recording device 30.
