    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable highly-precise setting of a gain by a simple constitution by using a D/A transformer, an input-step operator-amplifier, a group of feedback resistances for the operator-amplifier and an adder as a method for adjusting the gain. CONSTITUTION:An input-step operator-amplifier 10 receives the current from a neutron-flux detector. Between the input and output terminals of the operator- amplifier 10 are provided resistances R1, R2 and R3 connected in parallel and a selection switch S selecting these resistances. The output of the operator-amplifier 10 is inputted in a D/A transformer 5, while digital signals dl-dk having a prescribed bit are also inputted therein, and a gain is set in a digital manner. And, the output of this circuit is inputted in an output-step operator-amplifier 7 and is amplified with the gain set beforehand. The output of these operator-amplifiers 10 and 7 is added by an adder 12 and thus an output V0 is obtained. By such a constitution, the setting of the gain can be performed with high precision.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit the life of a GM counter tube to be known accurately and enable measurement error and proper exchange time to be estimated by providing the pulse integration circuit which is applied for the measurement of radioactive rays and posseses preset function and the alarm generating part. CONSTITUTION:When a GM counter tube 11 receives the radioactive ray to be measured, the counter tube 11 transmits the pulse signal in a number which is proportional to the dose of radioactive rays, and the pulse signals are counted by a preset-type pulse integration circuit 12 through a signal wire 13. The integration value is displayed on an integration display device 14. In the preset- type pulse integration circuit 12, the number of counts which shows the estimated life of the sealed-up gas in the GM counter tube 11 is preset beforehand. When the integration value is attained, alarm signal is transmitted from the pulse integration circuit 12 to the alarm display part 15 to inform the life of the GM counter tube 11.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a response signal quickly to a sudden change of input with a relatively small memory capacity by obtaining a count value for deciding an input pulse, which is corresponding to the trip level set value, from a count rate by the input pulse. CONSTITUTION:The input pulse a is counted, its count value is fed to the data processor 12 and comparator 14. The processor 12 provides the count rate d to the output according to the count value every sampling time DELTAt. On the other hand, the comparator 14 provides the trip signal c when the count value becomes a trip level set value or more within the time DELTAt, the output is delivered to the outside through the processor 12. The input pulse is counted and compared with the trip level every time DELTAt, and when it becomes the trip level set value Rt or less, the trip signal is cut off.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the number of detectors in a reactor core through continuous measurement of a neutron flux by means of a single detector, by a method wherein, in a system which performs a wide-ranged measuring of a neutron flux by means of a single neutron detector, a given mixture gas is used as ionization gas for the detector. CONSTITUTION:An input circuit 23 is connected to an output terminal of a detector 21 for wide-ranged measuring through a coaxial cable 22. The input circuit 23 is proved with a low-input impedance circuit consisting of an input resistance RH and a combined capacitor C6, and a high-input impedance circuit consisting of an input resistance RF and a combined capacitor C7. Said detector 21 is, for example, of a fission counter tube, and provided an electrode gap is 0.5mm., an implanting gas pressure is 10 atmospheric pressure, and an applying voltage is 300V, a mixture gas, consisting of 95% argon and 5% nitrogen, is used as implanting gas or inonizing gas. Resulting from the use of said mixture gas as ionization gas, an electron is sharply increased in a moving speed, and a charge collecting time of an electron sharply differs from that of ion. The use of said detector 21 permits separation of frequency and also causes preventing of the occurrence of a signal current loss and reflection wave.
