    Abstract: This display body is provided with: a light interference layer on which incident light having a predetermined wavelength range is incident at an incident angle, and which emits reflected light having a predetermined wavelength that is part of the predetermined wavelength range, the predetermined wavelength depending on the incident angle; a prism layer which has a light transmission property, transmits the light incident on the light interference layer, and has a surface with recesses and protrusions that includes at least one display region; and an interface layer which is adjacent to the surface with recesses and protrusions, and differs in refractive index from the prism layer such that the refractive index on the prism layer side with respect to an interface between the surface with recesses and protrusions and the interface layer is higher than the refractive index on the side where the light interference layer is located with respect to the interface. When seen in plan view facing a plane over which the prism layer spreads, the display region includes a plurality of inclined elements, of which adjacent inclined elements are in contact with each other in the arrangement direction, and the plurality of inclined elements include a first plurality of inclined elements, the inclination angles of which increase in increments of a predetermined angle along the arrangement direction.

    Abstract: According to the present invention, an emboss layer is provided with a geometric optics structural region, a wave optics structural region, and a third structural region. The third structural region is situated between the geometric optics structural region and the wave optics structural region. The emboss layer is provided with a first relief structure in the geometric optics structural region, and said first relief structure has a height not less than 0.5 µm but less than 30 µm. The emboss layer is provided with a second relief structure in the wave optics structural region, and said second relief structure has a height not less than 100 nm but less than 500 nm. The emboss layer is provided with a third relief structure in the third structural region, and said third relief structure has a height that is at least 1/2 times the thickness of the emboss layer but at most two times the height of the first relief structure. The height of the third structure is greater than that of the first relief structure.
