Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor which is improved in voltage resistance, self- healing properties, moisture resistance, and reliability and has a constant capacity over a wide temperature range and a biaxially oriented laminated film which can be used for easily producing the capacitor. SOLUTION: In the biaxially oriented laminated film, a surface layer (layer A) of a polyester film having an extrapolated glass transition temperature (Tg) of 90-140 deg.C and comprising a polymer which contains a polyester and a polyimide and has a single extrapolated glass transition temperature (Tg) is laminated at least on one side of a central layer (layer B) of a polyphenylene sulfide film, and the total thickness of the layer A is 1-40% of the total thickness of the layer B.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tenter clip capable of obtaining a thermoplastic resin film uniform in physical properties along its lateral direction, excellent in thermal dimensional stability and mechanical characteristics and good in flatness with good productivity and a method for producing the thermoplastic resin film. SOLUTION: In a tenter clip, a film 2 is made movable in its longitudinal direction at the gripping parts of the clip and both end parts of the film in the film lateral direction are gripped and a ratio x/L1 (N/mm) of the film restricting force x(N) in the film longitudinal direction to clip gripping width L1 (mm) is 0.5 (N/mm) or less. A thermoplastic resin film is produced by using the tenter clip.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biaxially oriented thermoplastic resin film having uniform physical properties in its lateral direction, excellent in heat dimensional stability and also good in flatness with good productivity. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a biaxially oriented thermoplastic resin film, a film is biaxially stretched to be heat-treated and, thereafter, the heat-treated stretched film is cooled in a cooling process comprising at least two or more stages so that the temp. difference between adjacent cooling processes is 5-30 deg.C, the cooling temp. of the first cooling process is (Tg+60) deg.C and a cooling time is 0.5-20 sec and, succeedingly, the cooled film is cooled so that the cooling time from the second cooling process to the final cooling process is 3-80 sec and the temp. of the final cooling process becomes (Tg+10) deg.C or lower.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condenser excellent in electric characteristics such as voltage resistance, humidity resistance or the like, having constant capacity over a wide temperature region and enhanced in reliability, and a biaxially oriented laminated film capable of easily manufacturing the condenser. SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented laminated film is obtained by laminating a surface layer (A-layer) comprising a polyphenylene sulfide film on at least the single surface of a center layer (B-layer) comprising a polyester film comprising a polymer with a single extrapolation glass transition temperature (Tg) containing a polyester and a polyimide and having an extrapolation glass transition start temperature of 90-140 deg.C. The sum total thickness of the A-layer is 1-40% or less of that of the B-layer.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film structure having good flatness without strain or twist curl even by laminating films of any slit positions in the case of laminating. SOLUTION: The film structure is obtained by laminating at least two biaxially oriented films so that an angle made by orienting main axes becomes 10 to 180 deg.. Thus, the film having a heat shrinkage factor of the film at 150 deg.C in an arbitrary direction of the film of -0.1 to 1% and a difference of the heat shrinkages at 150 deg.C in two arbitrary directions of the film of a range of 0 to 0.3% is used.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mechanical properties, heat-dimensional stability, ease of handling and shape in roll by specifying the proportion of thickness irregularities in the longitudinal direction and the width direction and further, perform an aging treatment under specific temperature conditions. SOLUTION: A biaxially stretched film with thickness irregularities of 0.3% or more and 5% or less in the longitudinal direction over a length of 10 m and 0.5% or more and 5% or less in the thickness direction, is subjected to an aging treatment at Tg -30 deg.C or less and Tg or less. In addition, in case the Fourier analysis of the wave-form of the thickness irregularities in the longitudinal direction over the length of 10 m is performed, the ratio Pw/PwT to the spectrum intensity sum PwT in the total wavenumber zone of a spectrum intensity sum Pw when the wavenumber is 1 (1/m) or more and 2 (1/m) or less, is preferably 0.15 or less, and more preferably the ratio Pw/Pwt is 0.1 or less.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a surface flawless film without allowing an oligomer to stick to the surface of a drum or a roll by using the drum or the roll which has a chrome plating film containing a specified number of carbon atoms for a chromium atom formed on the surface whose outer peripheral face has a specific surface roughness. SOLUTION: A film manufacturing drum or roll is used which has an outer peripheral face with a surface roughness of 1S or less and also a chrome plating film containing 0.5-5% of a carbon atom in terms of the number of atoms for a chromium atom formed on the surface. An oligomer is prevented from sticking to the drum or the roll by meeting both surface roughness and surface film composition conditions. If this plating film thickness is too small, the pliability of a foundation metal influences the thickness. On the other hand, if the thickness is too large, cracks are generated due to heat or stress strain. The recommended foundation metal on which the film is applied is normally SUS or carbon steel.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a twist curl in a use laminating a polyester film chiefly used for an IC card. SOLUTION: In a differential curve of the real shrinkage quantity of a polyester film in its machine direction calculated from shrinkage quantities at times of a temp. rise and a temp. drop due to TMA by heat-treating the polyester film in a tenter after longitudinal stretching and lateral stretching and subsequently cooling the heated film to a temp. range from (glass transition temp. +50 deg.C)-(heat treatment temp. -30 deg.C) and applying relax to the film in its machine direction within a range of ±10% in the shrinkage quantity at a time of a temp. drop due to TMA corresponding to the temp. drop of the cooling process up to the outlet of the tenter, a shrinkage quantity differential value dL/dT within a range from glass transition temp.-150 deg.C is always 0.02%/ deg.C or less and the heat shrinkage factor of the film in the machine direction at 150 deg.C for 30 min is 1.0% or less and the lateral distribution of this heat shrinkage factor is 0.1% or less.
