Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FRP roof structural body, which is lightweight and excellent in handrability, requires no large and heavy machine for re-roofing a large roof, hardly burdens to the beams and columns of a building, can be executed very easily, effectively transmits a horizontal force to a lower structure to suppress its deformation small at the time of an earthquake, can sharply prolong its useful life, and can achieve execution in a short construction period, and to provide its execution method. SOLUTION: This FRP roof structural body 1 is suitable for re-roofing at the time of the aseismatic repair of a prestress concrete roof in particular, it is a sandwich structural body having rib members 3 between an FRP skin layer 2a and a skin layer 2b facing each other, the thickness ratio of the opposite FRP skin layers 2a, 2b against the total thickness of the sandwich structural body is in the range of 5:1-25:1, and the unit weight is 150 kg/m2 or below. For the execution method, the existing prestress concrete roof is demolished at lest in one block or two blocks, and the said structural body 1 is re-mounted in sequence.
