Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugate sheet keeping excellent quality appearance, physical property, or the like, without using an organic solvent. SOLUTION: This method for producing a conjugate sheet in the present invention comprises applying a water-soluble polymer to a fiber sheet comprising a fineable conjugate fiber containing an alkali-dissolving polymer as one component and carrying out (A) a step applying a heat-sensitive coagulating flexible resin emulsion to the sheet to carry out heat-sensitive coagulation, (B) a step making fineable con-jugate fiber fine and (C) a step for removing a water-soluble polymer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title novel fiber outstanding in mechanical properties, flexibility, feel and processability, by mutual conjugation at the rectangular sides, of a plural of cyclic primary aggregates radially arranged by alternately superposing two kinds of filmy structural elements consisting of respective two polymers differing from each other. CONSTITUTION:Two kinds of filmy structural elements 1, 2 consisting of respective two polymers differing from each other are alternately superposed and radially arranged followed by conjugation of a plural of the resultant cyclic primary aggregates a, b at their rectangular sides mutually to form a cyclic secondary aggregate, thus obtaining the objective fiber. To produce said fiber, two multilaminar conjugate-type polymer flows are combined at their rectangular sides mutually using the first conjugation plate, and the resulting two combined polymer flows are combined again using the second conjugation plate followed by delivery through the C-type nozzle to carry out spinning.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an ink ribbon having good ink-retention properties, sharpness in printing, and superior dulability, by using a cloth made of a fiber having a plurality of groove- or layer-form hollow parts with one opening on the periphery thereof at a fiber cross section. CONSTITUTION:An ink ribbon mainly consists of a cloth made of a fiber having a plurality of groove- or layer-form hollow parts with at least one opening on the periphery thereof at a fiber cross section. The construction of the fiber surface having continuous irregularities along a fiber axis makes adjacent fibers strongly restrain each other, thus enabling the reduction of problems, such as the distortion in texture, hole, and elongation in the woven material. Therefore, an ink ribbon having durability can be obtained with the strong construction. As an applicable synthetic fiber, polyester fiber, polyacrylonitrile fiber, acetate fiber, and others can be used. As a polymer having a high performance in mechanical resistance against typing, polyamide fiber and polyester fiber are preferable.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the strength and softening temperature of a molding, by adding a microbially produced cellulosic fiber to a plastic molding. CONSTITUTION:A plastic molding containing a microbially produced cellulosic fiber. Examples of processes for adding said cellulosic fiber to a plastic include melt blending and solution blending processes. Generally, the amount of said cellulosic fiber is 0.01-50pts.wt., preferably 0.2-30pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. plastic. When the amount of said cellulosic fiber added to a plastic is excessively small, the effect of increasing the strength or improving the softening temperature is excessively small. When it is excessively large, it causes brittleness of a molding, poor surface appearance or excessive hardness.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a fabric having a change on the surface, capable of providing a touch rich in a surface change of natural like change by treating a fabric with a hydrous gel containing an ion group and energizing the fabric. CONSTITUTION: A fabric is immersed and treated with a hydrous gel containing an ionic group such as a hydrous gel of a polymer of 2-acrylamido-2- methylpropanesulfonic acid or a hydrous polymer gel containing an electric charge such as a hydrous gel of a partial hydrolyzate of an acrylamide polymer, energized by using a DC electric source, etc., shrunk and simultaneously water in the gel is removed and the gel is dried to give the objective fabric having a surface composed of an extremely smooth curved line in which its curvature has a shape rich in change depending upon the part of the curved line.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to shrink rapidly a water-contg. gel without adding any salt and to reduce restriction on the application of the water-contg. gel, by applying the current to an aggregate of water-contg. microgels having ionic groups. CONSTITUTION:The current is applied to an aggregate of water-contg. microgels having ionic groups. As the water-contg. gel having ionic groups, known gels can be used, and, e.g., those which have negative electric charge, such as a water-contg. gel of a polymer of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfnic acid (AMPS), a water-contg. gel of partially hydrolyzed acrylamide (AAM) polymer, a water-contg. gel of a copolymer of AMPS and AAM, a water-contg. gel of polymethacrylic acid and those which have positive electric charge, such as a partially quaternarized polyvinylpyridine can be cited. When the average vol. of the micro gels approaches 0.02cm or less, the aggregate of the micro gels suitably and rapidly shrinks. As the method for applying the current to the water-contg. gel, a dry cell, a battery, a direct electric source through a stabilizer as an electric source can be used. This shrinkage of the water-contg. gel is used for an electric slow-release agent and an electrically driven bimetal.
