The relationship between the cross-section of the groove for sea component surrounding the island component continuous lines at the innermost circle (a) and those of the other grooves for sea component surrounding the more outer b, c, d,... circles is always kept so that the inner side may be larger than the outer side in cross sections, preferably the cross section at the innermost part is laerger than the more outer part by 1-20%.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:The island component is formed into specifically arranged groups of fine continuous lines and a plurality of these groups are positioned in the flow of the sea component to form conjugate fibers with perfect island-in-sea section continuously with no problems on quality such as viscosity difference. CONSTITUTION:The fine continuous lines of the island component 8 are arranged in a plurality of annular circles or additionally another continuous line of the island component is passed through the center of the annular circles. When each annular circle is named as a, b, c, d... in order from the innermost one and each interval between these circles is expressed with L1, L2, L3... in order, the interval between the groups of island continuous lines is set so as to satisfy the equation: L1>L2>L3 or L1>L2 L3 or L1 L2>L3.L1 is required to be 1.1-3 times Ln (the interval in the outermost circle).
