Provided are a separation membrane and a separation membrane element, whereby separation and removal performance when the separation membrane element is operated under high pressure can be stabilized. The separation membrane includes: a separation membrane main body having at least a base material and a separating functional layer; and a flow path material independently fixed at an adhesion force of at least 1N/m to the opposite side to the separating functional layer, in the base material thickness direction.

This separation membrane is provided with: a separation membrane main body which has at least a base and a separating function layer; and a flow channel member which has a composition different from that of the separation membrane main body and is affixed to the base-side surface of the separation membrane main body. The flow channel member is arranged such that the flow channel member is discontinuous in a first direction but is continuous in a second direction from one end to the other end of the separation membrane main body.

The present invention provides a composite semipermeable membrane achieving high permeate amount and having high capability to inhibit adhesion of foulants to the membrane surface. The present invention relates to a composite semipermeable membrane including: a supporting membrane which includes a substrate and a porous supporting layer; and a polyamide separation functional layer formed on the porous supporting layer, in which an acidic group-containing hydrophilic polymer is introduced onto the surface of the separation functional layer via amide linkage, and relates to a method for producing such a composite semipermeable membrane.
