Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the titled sheet having excellent durability and deep luster colored in high fastness, by three-dimensionally entangling composite fibers capable of forming ultrafine fibers, and blasting a high-speed fluid jet toward the entangled fibers, thereby carrying out the application of the resin containing colorant, the ultrafibrillation of the fiber, and the dyeing with a reactive dye at the same time. CONSTITUTION:(A) Multi-component fibers capable of forming ultrafine fibers finer than 0.05 denier are subjected to the three-dimensional entanglement to obtain a fiber sheet. (B) A high-speed fluid jet is blasted toward at least one surface of the sheet to effect the splitting of the multi-component fibers and the mutual entanglement of the fibers. (C) The surface blasted with the high-speed fluid jet is coated with a resin containing 3-300%, preferably 10-100% colorant (based on the solid content of the resin) (the amount of the resin is when flexibility is required, and 5-50g/m when abrasion resistance is required.). (D) The fibers are fibrillated to form ultrafine fibers. (E) The product is dyed with a reactive dye. The above process may be carried out in the order A B D C or A D B C interposing the step E at an arbitrary position.
