    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester resin composition excellent in durability and dimensional stability at high temperatures and in high humidity by melting and kneading a polyester resin with a layered silicate. SOLUTION: This polyester resin composition is obtained by melting and kneading (A) the polyester resin and (B) the layered silicate regulated so that the layered silicate (B) may homogeneously dispersed in the polyester resin composition so as to form the level of 5-20 layers.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyamide resin composition, having excellent rigidity and toughness together and especially excellent in high-speed planar impact fracture characteristics and having balanced and excellent characteristics of molded product surface appearance and dimensional stability. SOLUTION: This polyamide resin composition is obtained by melt kneading 100 pts.wt. of a polyamide resin with 5-150 pts.wt. of a nonfibrous inorganic filler having 0.05-10 μm average particle diameter and/or a fibrous inorganic filler having 0.05-10 μm average fiber diameter except glass fibers. The resultant composition has >=4 g/m of the polyamide component sticking to the inorganic filler based on a unit surface area measured by a BET method when dissolving the composition in hexafluoroisopropanol and recovering the inorganic filler.

SOLUTION: A polyamide resin composition for automobile electrical equipment member housings is prepared by mixing (a) a polyamide resin and (b) a lamellar silicate, wherein (b) the lamellar silicate is a lamellar silicate wherein the exchangeable cations present between the layers are exchanged with organic onium ions.
