Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an implement for holding down a person which is light in weight and which can suppress the motion of the person simply and easily and has a high effect of suppression, by a method wherein the opening area of a mesh of a circular or polygonal netlike body constituted of synthetic fibers is made to be a specified value. SOLUTION: The opening area of a mesh of a circular or polygonal netlike body 2 constituted of synthetic fibers is made to be 25-3000cm . Herein the synthetic fibers are high-strength synthetic fibers having a strength of 13g/d or above and the netlike body 2 is constituted of thin threads of 100 deniers or below. Besides, the netlike body 2 is constituted of a combination of thick and thin threads and the thin threads are made to have naps or hook-shaped standing piles. Moreover, the area of the netlike body 2 is made to be 1m or above and the net thread is constituted of different fibers of two kinds or more. The net thread is constituted of the fibers having different degrees of fineness of two kinds or more. After the netlike body 2 thus prepared is entwined, a string is passed through the periphery of the netlike body 2. By pulling this string, the netlike body is brought to a state of a purse, the extent of action of a person is narrowed thereby and the person is held down.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure smooth expansion for a chest structure for preventing the structure from expanding and deforming to other directions except a patient's chest direction by forming the expandable and contractable structure of compressed fluids by using a thin sheet, and by reinforcing sections excluding the chest direction of the patient in the structure with reinforcing members comprising line-like, bar-like, belt-like, and spring-like members. SOLUTION: A chest pressing structure 1 of a massage device, which is used to give heart massage to a patient whose heart is stopped by an accident, a disease or the like, is formed bag-like shape of a thin sheet which can be expandable and contractable by compressing fluids, and sections excluding a chest direction of the patient in the structure are reinforced by reinforcing members 2 (a figure in a line-like reinforcing member) comprising line-like, bar-like, belt-like, and spring-like members. The chest pressing structure 1 can be flexibly expanded and contracted to the chest direction of the patient by supplying and discharging the compressed fluids thereby to prevent the structure from expanding and deforming to other directions except the chest direction of the patient, to reduce unnecessary consumption of the compressed fluids, and to reduce energy of a driving source. An elastic body for giving contraction may be assembled in the chest pressing structure 1.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety without impairing fitting properties by a method wherein a cap body having a specified number of through holes for fixing internal parts and prepared by composite molding of a fabric of high-strength fibers having a strength of a specified value and synthetic resin is made a shell body and a hammock is fitted to a support frame so fitted as to be in contact with the inside of the shell body of the cap body. SOLUTION: A cap body having three or less through holes for fixing internal parts and prepared by composite molding of a fabric of high-strength fibers having a strength of 15g/d or above and synthetic resin is made a shell body 1. A support frame 3 is so fitted as to be in contact with the inside of the shell body 1 and a hammock is fitted to the support frame 3. The support frame 3 is constituted of metal, plastic, fiber-reinforced plastic or a combination of these materials. The through holes are provided in two or three places in the lower end parts of the right and left parts or the rear part of the shell body 1 and are used for fixing the support frame 3 and the shell body 1. According to this constitution, the through holes for fixing the internal parts can be lessened without impairing fitting properties and a protective helmet having an increased safety can be obtained.

A sheet to be used is preferably waterproof and moisture permeable.
