    Abstract: A moisture-permeable waterproof fabric has a resin layer formed on at least one surface thereof, wherein the resin layer is composed of a mixture comprising a product obtained by reacting a urethane prepolymer having isocyanate terminals with an N-carboxyamino acid anhydride and an amine, and a polyurethane having a 100% modulus of at least 40 kg/cm , the amount of the resin product in the resin layer is 12.9 to 85.3 wt% of total solid resin, and the amount of the urethane/amino acid copolymer contained in the resin layer is 0.9 to 9.0% wt of total solid resin. The fabric has both an excellent moisture permeability and waterproofness, as well as an excellent abrasion resistance and washing fastness.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a moisture-permeable water-proof processed web having high performances on both the moisture permeability and the water resistance and excellent in the abrasion resistance and washing durability, and further to provide a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION:At least one surface of a web is coated with a mixture to form a resin coating film having a product content of 8.5-91wt.% in the whole resin solid content and having a urethane/amino acid copolymer content of 0.5-9.1wt.% in the whole resin solid content, the mixture being obtained by mixing the product with a polyurethane having a 100% modulus of >=40kg/cm or with (D) a polyurethane mixture of (B) a polyurethane having a 100% modulus of >=40kg/cm with (C) a polyurethane having a 100% modulus of , the content of the polyurethane C in the polyurethane mixture being 37-92wt.%, and the product being obtained by reacting a urethane prepolymer having isocyanate terminal groups with an N-carboxyamino acid anhydride and an amine.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject artificial suede structure, not impairing handle and quality and having softness and excellent flame retardance by applying a specific flame retardant to an artificial suede structure. CONSTITUTION:The objective artificial suede structure having softness and excellent flame retardance is obtained by applying one kind of flame retardant selected from a compound of formula I (R and R are 2-3C aliphatic hydrocarbon residue; m is 1 or 2; n is 1-30) and a compound of formula II (R and R are 2-3C aliphatic hydrocarbon residue; m is 1 or 2; a is 1-3), e.g. triphenylphosphate, tetrabromobisphenol A, tetrabromobisphenol A ethylene oxide adduct or tetrabromobisphenol S to the rear face of an artificial suede structure consisting a thermoplastic synthetic fiber, in which a polyurethane is impregnated, in an amount of 5-50wt.%. Furthermore, coating of this flame retardant is preferably carried out after previously lining fabric such as woven or knit fabric or nonwoven fabric and then applying the flame retardant to the fabric.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a raised sheet like article suitable for a car seat having permanent antistatic properties and high strength, excellent in fire retardancy and color development properties and having a high grade feeling and a favorable surface touch. CONSTITUTION:A raising fiber consists of an extremely fine conductive fiber containing fine conductive particles and having electric specific resistance of 10 OMEGAcm or less and fineness of 1 denier or less and a non-conductive fiber. These fibers are three-dimensionally entangled with a knitted fabric to obtain an antistatic raised sheet like article wherein the extramely fine conductive fiber and the non-conductive fiber are present on a raised surface in an opened blended fiber state and the extremely fine conductive fiber piercing the knitted fabric to be exposed to the rear thereof is bonded by a resin containing a conductive material and the occupying ratio of the extremely fine conductive fiber in the raising fiber is 0.5wt.% or more and the content of a conductive material is 3-30g/m .

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the subject web having excellent moisture-permeability and water pressure resistance by forming on the web a resin coating film comprising a mixture of an urethane prepolymer having isocyanate ends, a specific amino acid anhydride and an amine. CONSTITUTION:An urethane prepolymer having isocyanate ends is reacted with a N-carboxy amino acid anhydride and with an amine (e.g. hydrazine or ethylene diamine). The reaction product is mixed with a polyurethane resin having a 100% modulus of >=40kg/cm in a wt. ratio of 20-80:90-10 and further with an isocyanate crosslinking agent. The mixture is dissolved in dimethyl- formamide, etc., coated on a web and coagulated to form a resin coating film for providing a moisture-permeable and waterproof web having a moisture permeability of >=8000g/m .24hr and a water pressure resistance of >=2000mm H2O. The web is comfortable without causing stuffiness stickiness or water leakage.
