    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyamide resin composition capable of simultaneously satisfying excellent surface appearance of product, low warpage, low sink mark and high mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyamide resin and (B) 15-200 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler. (A) The polyamide resin is a terpolymer composed of a hexamethylene adipamide unit (PA66), a hexamethylene iso phthalamide unit (PA61) and a caproamide unit (PA6). The copolymerization ratio of each repeating unit simultaneously satisfies 65-90 wt.% (PA66) and 1-10 wt.% (PA6) in a ratio of (PA61)/(PA6) of >=0.1.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallically pre-dyed polyamide resin composition excellent in proofness against thermal discoloration. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. nylon resin, (B) 0.01-5.0 pts.wt. phenolic stabilizer, (C) 0.01-5.0 pts.wt. phosphite stabilizer, and (D) 0.1-20.0 pts.wt. metallic pigment. It is desirable that the composition additionally contains (E) 0.001-0.1 pt.wt. carbon black and (F) 1-150 pts.wt. inorganic filler.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high temperature-cooling water of sufficiently long term durability and good injection molding properties by heat-treating the molding after injection-molding a polyamide composition in a prescribed shape. SOLUTION: A resin composition in which an polyamide composition containing polycarproamide (nylon 6), polyhexamethylene adipamide (nylon 66), etc., and a mixture of them is incorporated with an additive including a fiber reinforcing material such as glass fibers, silicate such as wollastonite, a metal compound such as alumina, carbonate such as dolomite, sulfate such as calcium sulfate, nonfibrous such as silica, a plasticizer, a mold release agent, and an antioxidant is injection-molding in a prescribed shape. The molding is heat-treated in a prescribed reduced pressure condition, or in inert gas such as nitrogen, helium, and argon, or in oil such as silicone oil at a high temperature not exceeding the melting point of the polyamide to avoid oxidative degradation for a long time so that good injection molding properties and durability to high temperature cooling liquid and enough functions to be used for a long time can be maintained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition remarkably improved in impact resistance characteristics without impairing heat resistance inherent in a polyphenylenesulfide resin by blending the polyphenylene sulfide resin washed with a nitrogen-containing organic solvent with a specific rubber component. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains (A) a polyphenylene sulfide resin washed with a nitrogen-containing polar organic solvent (preferably N- methylpyrrolidone) and (B) a glycidyl group-containing olefinic polymer consisting of 60-99.5wt.% alpha-olefin (preferably ethylene) and 0.5-40wt.% glycidyl ester of alpha,beta-unsaturated acid (preferably glycidyl methacrylate). Furthermore, 50-99wt.% component A is preferably blended with 50-1wt.% component B. 70-99wt.% component A is preferably blended with 30-1wt.% component B in order to use for uses requiring stiffness and strength.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the load efficiency and the durability of a control cable composed of an inner cable and a conduit for slidably guiding the inner cable even under severe condition by covering the outer periphery of the inner cable with a composition in which an elastomer is blended in polyphenyl sulfide resin. CONSTITUTION:A control cable is composed of an inner cable 1 and a conduit 2 for slidably guiding the inner cable 1 which is covered over the outer peripheral surface thereof with a composition in which an elastomer is blended in polyphenyl sulfide resin PPS. This resin composition in which the elastomer is blended in the PPS has a high heat resistance, a high slidability, a high flexibility and a high toughness. Accordingly, the control cable including the inner cable covered with such a material has a flexibility so that it can be freely laid a high load efficiency and a high durability may be held even under a severe condition in which the temperature and the load are high.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To get a light object excellent in heat resistance and strength by injecting a PPS resin composition, which is obtained by using PPS resin as matrix resin and mixing a specific inorganic filler, an inorganic hollow filler, and a multifunctional epoxy compound. CONSTITUTION:A resin compound is fused and injected, wherein 0.1-10wt.% portion of multifunctional epoxy compounds, which has at least two pieces of epoxy groups in each molecule and where the amounts of molecules are 2000 or less, is added to 100wt.% portion of resin compounds, which consists of 30-70wt.% polyphenylene sulfide resin, 25-60wt.% fiber-shaped or nonfiber- shaped inorganic fillers, and 5-30wt.% inorganic hollow fillers. The compact, which is made this way, is used as a substrate to make a lamp reflector. Hereby, a lamp reflector, which meets various requests such as lightness, heat resistance, dimension stability, surface smoothness, and adhesion with metallic film, can be manufactured favorably in productivity.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To bond firmly the title molding, by subjecting an adherened of a polyphenylene sulfide resin molding to a specified roughening treatment, treating it further with an acid, an alkali or a salt and bonding it with an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyphenylene sulfide resin (a) having a melt viscosity of 100-10,000P, composed of at least 70mol% of a repeating unit of the formula is blended with 10-250pts.wt., pref. 30-100pts.wt. inorg. filler (b) having an average particle size of pref. 0.5-20mu (e.g., CaCO3). The mixture is molded to obtain a polyphenylene sulfide resin molding (A). Separately, 5-20g of a Friedel-Crafts catalyst (c) selected from the group consisting of anhydrous AlCl3, SbCl5, anhydrous FeCl3, TeCl2, TeCl4, anhydrous SnCl4, TiCl4 and BiCl3 is dissolved in 100cc of an org. solvent (d) to obtain a soln (B). The adherened of the component A is roughened with the component B and then treated with an acid, an alkali or a salt (C) to decompose or dissolve the component (b). The treated surface is then bonded with an adhesive.
